Consorcio ARA, S. A. B. de C. V. is a public company that designs, develops, constructs and markets "Progresiva" (Low Income), Affordable Entry Level, Middle income, and Residential housing developments. In addition, the Company rents mini-supermarkets under operating leases in México.
Currently, we have 6 shopping malls with a gross leasable area of 157,018 m², as well as 7,477 m² in "uni" and "mini" shopping center formats, bringing the full total of gross leasable area to 164,495 m².
We have more than 38 years of experience and since the beginning of our participation in the Mexican Stock Exchange in 1996, we have become known by a diversified product offer and long-term vision along with a solid financial structure reflected mainly in the efficient use of our working capital, liquidity and moderate debt level.
Throughout these years we have sold 309,000 homes where approximately 1,236,000 Mexicans live.
ARA has presence in 16 states, 18 cities, 34 municipalities and 44 housing developments.
Through a co-investment scheme, ARA also develops and operates integral shopping malls located within or near our housing developments, which represents a significant added value.
We are listed in the Mexican Stock exchange under the ARA* stock symbol, as well as ADR's in the New York Stock Exchange. For 9 consecutive years, we have had the best ratings in the Mexican housing sector from Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investors Service: "mxA" and "A2.mx" "Ba2" (Global scale), respectively.
